Never does the state show its vibrance more than in late September, when the aspen colors peak throughout the Rockies.t But the colors of Colorado are not limited by the golden aspens that draw so many to the mountains in fall. As we were reminded on this visit to the high country, the reddish tones of an alpine sunset often grace the skies with a show that rivals any show in nature. For this fall weekend, we were welcomed by the signature stunning golds and the fiery reds at dawn and dusk, creating a masterful color palette to showcase the magic of autumn.
